Promotion through Social Networking
Every business definitely needs a promotion in order to tell people that your business exists and what best from your business itself is. A decade ago, people still used conventional way to promote their products. Promotions usually mean putting advertisement on mass media or billboard, to describe your product. This way may be enough for that era. Nowadays, if a product is trying to be sold by putting advertise on mass media or billboard only, you might not get noticed from customers.
Since internet era begun, people started to sell their products online, or at least to put their advertisement on social networking such as facebook, twitter, blogs, or other networks. This way of promotion might already been done by large scale business since long time ago. But for small or medium enterprise, they probably did not think that it would gain their income. You must have received friend request on facebook from something-Shop, which the account is made by someone owned a store. Or you must have read a tweet from some companies that trying to sell you something. The reason why seller chose social media to publish their product is various. The first reason might be because it is free. Yet the other reasons may be the fact that social media is very close to people’s life, which seller wishes people would notice and remember they product.
